He is involved in consulting activities related to business organization, financial reporting and management control and he is a statutory auditor in four Italian companies.
Ugo Marinelli has worked for Arthur Andersen from 1965 to 2000 and assigned to various increasing roles and responsibilities in the field of auditing and business consulting:
 Admitted to the partnership in 1975;
Office Manager Partner of the Rome Office from 1979 to 1996;
Head of the "Assurance and Business Advisory for Italy" for the "products and services" sector from 1996 to 1999;
Member of the Board of Partners of Andersen Worldwide from 1997 to 2000; Chairman of the "Compensation Committee" of the Board from 1999 to 2000;
Member of the "Nominating Committee" of Andersen Worldwide for two terms;
Member of the "Training Advisory Committee" of Andersen Worldwide;
Member of the Executive Council of ABA (Assurance and Business Advisory) of Andersen Worldwide and of EMEIA (Europe, Middle East , India and Africa ) from 1997 to 1999;
Member of the "Global 1000 Leadership Team";
Member of the Italian Executive Council of Andersen Italy and Vice-President of Arthur Andersen S.p.A. from 1979 to 2000.
Ugo Marinelli has graduated in Economics at Pro Deo University of Rome (now Luiss Guido Carli) and he is a professional accountant and auditor (Dottore Commercialista and Revisore Contabile). He is author of several publications on auditing and financial reporting and he is member of the "Technical Committee" of the magazines "Revisione Contabile" and "Auditing". He is a lecturer and speaker on Accounting and Auditing matters.
