Ing. Vittorio Di Trapani Member of the Board

VITTORIO DI TRAPANI graduated in Electronic Engineering in Rome. He started his professional experience at IBM Italia S.p.A., working in a department dedicated to the Defense and Nato strategic projects.
In this environment, he acquired a strong international background and experience as IBM was the coordinator of the other branches located in NATO’s countries, United States included, within a NATO telecommunication project.

He moved to Florence, where he focused his activities in the Finance market. Then he moved again to Rome where he managed the IBM Italy operations for central government customers.

Subsequently he got an assignment in the U.S.A. with the role of coordinator for Innovation projects within the IT European markets, at IBM Corporation headquarter in White Plains N.Y for two years.

Back from the USA he was appointed as Responsible for Central Government Market activities, before being appointed as Managing Director of IBM SEMEA SUD, operating for the innovative software developments.
In 1997 he was responsible for External and International Relations.

From July 2004 to July 2007 he was Director of External Relations at Ferrovie dello Stato S.p.A, the National Railways Company.

From September 2007, he is responsible for Institutional Relations at ATM - Azienda Trasporti Comune di Milano
